I figured it was something like that. I didn't know what the context was, and found the line as a random quote by you in TT's irc-stats.

I guess since I had already guessed the first part, I was slightly curious as to what I was supposed to be "responding" to.

Probably something like:

Kraco: I ended up buying a new case for my PC so I can upgrade the graphics card in preparation for Skyrim later this year. It's so much quieter than my old one.
Kraco: Dunno what Bill the Fanatic would say, though.

(PS: Not panic-shutdown, but throttle the speed so it cools down back to safe levels (and burdenned under stress-testing for like an hour or something - real life situations, even intensive gaming, doesn't trigger it to happen, which is why I leave it on since it won't get triggered under normal circumstances anyway. It'll trip either under stress-tests or a fan failure.)

Aren't you a PC silence fanatic? You even removed visual noise by disabling leds. You told your CPU will panic shut down when both it and the GPU are burdened because of your cooling compromises. If that's not a sign of a silence fanatic, I don't know what is.

I had been noticing an increase in sign ups from them days before the new layout was implemented.

Amazingly, this new layout also brings an abundance of bots to our forums.

I'm open to suggestions/contributions, but I'll have to say right away I'm not a fan of having any Naruto faces there. The icons are much more glaring now than they were in the old forum, that's true, but that change came largely with the new engine (I only adapted them to the Gotwoot redness). My opinion is that they should still play a minor role. Making them very fancy would make the whole place look like a toy box.

I heard you're in charge of the icon-works or something Kraco. What's gonna happen to those giant speech-bubble icons on the normal forum page? Are they going to get smaller, stay the same, disappear, or customised?

I was thinking of perhaps changing them so that they reflect the actual subforums they represent (eg Naruto icon for the naruto thread) or similar.

Unsure if you had anything in mind, or if you were working on anything already. Might download photoshop and see if I can help out with that if you haven't got anything planned for it. (If time allows though, I don't think I'll able to be "quick" about it.)
