Is this the show that has inspired a lot of futanari porn?

characters are naked 90 percent of the time, on account of being horses.
but they sometimes wear cloths. and one of them usually has her cowboy hat on.

It's kind of hard to tell if you're joking or not...
so i'm going to take it as face value.
No, they aren't sexy human* fuck machines with dicks and tits.
they're horses (ponies, actually), two of them are regular ponies, two are pegasi and two are unicorns, there are other characters, but it's mostly these six.
they're all women (adults), and the main character moved to the town in order to make friends as part of her wizard trainning.
she makes friends, finds artifact of power that corespond with the 'good' qualties her friends exhibit and they vanquish ancient evil with rainbow blasts at the season openings and season finales.
between that, there are episodes about overcoming smaller problems, with less of the world's safety hanging at stakes. sometimes it's purely a realtionship (not-romatic) problem, and sometimes there's a monster hanging around as a plot device to direct the story. Other times the story is just about stuff happening in the town and how they react to it.
the later seasons have a bit more of episodes outside the main town, with more frequent visits to the big city, to other kingdoms and a loosely structured season long theme.

the big emphasis is on having a cast of strong characters with adult dialog and a strong sense of world building.

one of my favorite episodes is "It's about time" (season 2, episode 20), which can work as a stand alone episode.
it's a time travel episode, with a heavy focus on the main pony. it's a great ride, even if you don't know who anyone is and can see the plot point from the get go.

the last episode involved one of them going to a fan convention of her favorite author, which turns into a Indiana Jones spoof with a message of how it's possible for people to like different aspects of books or shows, and that people can have different tastes about a series in different times. which is obviously also about how some fans are saying 'the earlier seasons were better!'.

    * there are actually three movies with the cast as humans, the first one is meh, because the whole thing needs to be set up before it starts, but the 2nd one is much better and I actually really liked the third one. they fit in at the end of seasons 3,4,5.

and if you were joking... well, it's still great, on the level of Avatar and so.

I got nowhere else to talk about the recent episode, so i'm going to do it here.
    A miss.
not the usual sort of miss, that's expected from spike centered episodes.
this one was a missed opportunity to draw the parallels between spike and thorax, which seemed pretty obvious to me, but didn't happen in the show.
both are non-ponies who wish to live in a pony society, one never knew his kind, the other wants to escape his.
spike is accepted and loved because of his connection to twilight (and his past deeds), thorax is feared and hated, but it's pretty clear the situation would be reversed if they were switched in birth. it's easy to envision this episode as a prince and pauper gig (and I'm grateful that they haven't), but it's much more interesting to use this chance to look a bit into racial dynamics in the show. and how do 'adopted/immigrants' feel in society and how does the society treat them when they decide to examine their roots.
besides, spike learning what it means to be a dragon (in a pony land) is the only interesting thing they can do with his character, so why waste an entire episode (took me almost an hour to watch the 20 minutes) on 'it's important to stand up for your friends and tell the truth' message.

Season six is over, and the 4th equastria girls movie is out as well.
kind of weak season for the main ponies, and many episodes focused on the minor characters. some good, some bad.
the season finale was overall good, but it still was a sparkle gillmer episode, so meh. it did work with the cyclic motif in the end, but i didn't like the implications concerning the changelings. but it was still a good finale for the season.

camp everfree was a decent movie, not as good as friendship games, but still better than the first two.
it keeps the same overlaying arc about magic with twilight and sunset, but goes haywire and counters the same point with gloryossa.
too bad zekora wasn't there, it seemed like the perfect spot to introduce her to the universe, especially considering that cellestia and luna (as principal and VP) have no business in a summer camp, and contributed nothing to the plot.
the show still can't handle romance, and besides, isn't bruce much older than twilight? he's a camp counselor / co-manager, so at the very least he should be 20 or more. and twilight is still in highschool, so it's iffy. Flash is as pointless as ever, even though he supposdly dated sunset shimmer before the movies, and they achknowledge that, they still can't do anything interesting with them together. well, at least we had another 'best pony comforts worst human' bits. so there's that.
(which ties to one of the spin offs problems, which is about changing the characters from young independent women to high school girls).
the movie had zero ponies in it, and the new magic powerup origin (which is surprisingly similar to the power rangers trails) means we're are getting pretty close to a complete equestria girls standalone cartoon. which was probably inevitable, but still annoyning, in my opinion.

pinkie pie became gambit, which is nice. sunset shimmer got a plot explaining power that robs her of the opportunity she needs to become a more emphatic person, and twilight can still do everything.
